| I Started Building Engines In The Early 80s . And Since Then I Devoted All My Spare Time To Learning All I Could About The Flat Head Briggs. We Had A Transmission Shop For Thirty Years And When I Was"NT Building Transmissions I Would Be Working On A Briggs , We Raced 3 to 4 Nights A Week And Won A Lot of Local Events And Several Local Championships ; And After Fourteen Years Of Nonstop Racing I Took A Break. From 1994 to 1997 I Retired From Racing. And then in 1997 I started going back to the local tracks and helping some friends, and it was on. In 1999 I Closed my shop and went to work for SOX racing building engines and that was a great experience, I learned a lot from one of the best in the business Charlie Sox . In 2003 I came back to greenville to join up with Chad porginski @ C.P.R and that was another great experience ,we had a great year . And in september of 2004 I came Back to the same shop i started building engines in 24 years ago and opened MOOREPOWER Racing Engines. And for two years now we have enjoyed great success . Our main goal is to create a shop where you can get anything you need from a tire to an engine and feel that you have got what you paid for . We welcome everyone from the back yard engine builders to the national champions to let us help them get to the front and stay there. Thanks for all the support and efforts of our customers . | Now its time for another chapter in the moorepower family; my daughter brooke has expressed her intrest in karting, so we are in the process of going to the track for some seat time if everything works out she'll be racing soon. |
